Road signs in London are a celebration of colour and meaning. It is the art of eloquent arrangement. Viewers can’t stop wondering at what’s happening beyond the gates. Were I an art critic paid to justify a cosmic price for this installation, I’d say this art object represents a transcendent portal to the sublime. This is, of course, absolute, undiluted nonsense, but it just may sell it!
Even a simple sign on the road can be made to look perspectively symbolic, an agent for the healthy life-style.
